Spa breaks are possibly one of the best gift to get a person, the person you give it will be absolutely delighted. But you simply cannot go and buy gifts for any old person. A variety of questions that I always seem to get asked is who and when should I purchase a spa gift.

Mum

Personally this is probably one of the easiest people to purchase a spa break for, your mum has looked after you your whole life, so why not give something back to her anytime throughout the year.

Partner

Buying for your partner is always going to be a strenuous task, so why not take the opportunity to buy them a weekend spa break, you can never go wrong with this type of gift especially if you make it a romantic weekend and go as a couple instead of an individual. The best possible time in my opinion would be on an anniversary or Valentines day.

Friend

This can be a little trickier, as purchasing a friend a break to a spa resort is a genuinely kind motion, so they may think that you are after something, and if they are of the opposite sex then they may feel like you are trying to hit on them. You should only really buy a friend something like this if they specifically ask for it.

Colleague

Again you have to leverage the fine line between a gift and flirting, if a person at work purchased you a spa break then you would be grateful, but also think that it was quite weird, because people in this day and age just do not do stuff like that.
